Well, of course Jerusalem! What would it be like without him?

It is possible that with my sincerity I will spoil your impressions a little, but... after all, you are now not on an information site like Wikipedia, but on a personal blog, in which I will provide information based on own experience, personal vision and inner feelings.

Thanks to my offline work, I visit Jerusalem relatively often. And you know, personally this city depresses me and even makes me depressed.

I'm used to secular and modern life. I live in Tel Aviv and this city is radically different from all cities in Israel, and even more so from Jerusalem! I'm used to seeing skyscrapers, huge shopping and business centers, bars and restaurants, the sea, the beach, people dressed in latest fashion, girls in miniskirts and bikinis Joke! (And in every joke there is a grain of joke)

As you can guess, Jerusalem is the exact opposite.

All buildings in Jerusalem are lined with special decorative tiles made of Jerusalem stone, thanks to which the same texture and color of all houses is preserved. Personally, I don't like it. The city looks gloomy and colorless.

And if this landscape is supplemented with idly loitering ultra-dox Jews in long cloaks and fur hats at an air temperature of 35 degrees and great amount Arab men and Arab women in a burqa, then after this you are guaranteed depression.

My opinion about Jerusalem and its attractions changes only when I find myself in the old city. Everything is different here. Here a person automatically disconnects from modern world and be transported to an ancient era and this unique feeling.

So, despite my negativity at the beginning of the review, I strongly advise you to visit Jerusalem and preferably do it on an organized tour and with a professional guide.

Old City Jerusalem

The Old City of Jerusalem has been considered one of the holiest places in the world for thousands of years to this day. It contains relics and structures of shrines from three major religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.

There are no historical sights of Eilat as such. Eilat is a relatively young and modern city. You may ask me: “Why then did I put this city on the list of attractions in Israel?” Quite logical question
