Joseph Zenz studied for 10 years in Munich in the field of electronic data processing, manufacturing economy, spare parts. Since 1999 he has worked closely with WIMMER and is responsible for the production and sales of sawing systems.

The continuation of the dynasty will undoubtedly be Stephanie Zenz, Joseph's daughter. Since 2005, she has been studying to become a mechanical engineer, and in the future she intends to continue her engineering and economic education.

The ZENZ team consists of 25 employees who take care of the flawless production sequence of WIMMER band saw systems. They also provide service for WIMMER sawing systems. Most of them have been working at the company for 10 years.

A little history

Matthias Zenz bought the village blacksmith shop in 1857, which existed until 1872. Then four more generations passed before the current owner, Joseph Zenz, took over the company in 1989.

In 2007, ZENZ celebrated its 150th anniversary. In addition to blacksmithing and trading in agricultural machinery, ZENZ has always been involved in mechanical engineering. So it is not surprising that Joseph Zenz Jr., soon after taking over the production, began working in this area. In 1990, the first three mobile sawmills for trading companies were built. And by 1999, 500 sawmills had already been created and sold throughout the world. Since 1990 The company was constantly expanding and making significant investments in the development of new machines.
