Real production instructions for a repairman was developed on the basis of the Unified Tariff and Qualification Handbook (ETKS N 2, part 2), Safety Rules when working with tools and devices RD 34.03.204.

1. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

1.1. A repairman is a worker and reports directly to the foreman (the head of the business department, or the head of the technical department, or the head of the construction department).

1.3. A person with secondary education and appropriate training in the specialty is appointed to the position of repairman.

1.5. A repairman is appointed and dismissed by order of the head of the institution in accordance with the current legislation of the Russian Federation.

1.6. Persons at least 18 years of age who have passed a medical examination, theoretical and practical training, testing knowledge of occupational safety requirements in in the prescribed manner and received permission to work independently.

1.7. The repairman is provided with special clothing and safety footwear in accordance with current standards.

1.8. A repairman must know and strictly comply with labor safety requirements, fire safety, industrial sanitation.

1.9. The repairman must:

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

1. General Provisions

1.1. A car repair mechanic of the 5th category belongs to the category of workers and is directly subordinate to [name of the position of the immediate supervisor].

1.2. For the position of car repair mechanic of the 5th category, a person with a secondary education is accepted professional education and work experience in the specialty of at least [value] years.

1.3. A car repair mechanic of the 5th category is hired and dismissed from work by order of [position of the head of the organization].

1.4. A car repair mechanic of the 5th category must know:

Basic techniques for performing work on disassembling individual simple units;

Purpose and rules of use of used plumbing and instrumentation tools;

Name and marking of metals, oils, fuels, brake fluid, detergent compounds;

Basic information about the structure of cars and motorcycles;

The order of assembling simple units;

Techniques and methods for cutting, splicing, insulating and soldering electrical wires;

The main types of electrical and insulating materials, their properties and purpose;

Methods of performing fastening work and the scope of first and second maintenance;

Purpose and rules for using the most common universal and special devices and instrumentation;

Basic mechanical properties of processed materials;

Purpose and use of cooling and brake fluids, oils and fuels;

Purpose and basic properties of materials used in the repair of electrical equipment;

Rules for the use of pneumatic and electric tools;

Fundamentals of electrical engineering and metal technology in the scope of work performed;

Design and purpose of units, assemblies and devices of medium complexity;

Design and purpose of diesel and special trucks and buses;

Structural design of serviced cars and buses;

Rules for assembling cars and motorcycles;

Electrical and wiring diagrams cars;

Repair of parts, components, assemblies and devices;

Basic techniques for disassembling, assembling, removing and installing devices and electrical equipment;

Adjustment and fastening work;

Typical malfunctions of the electrical equipment system, methods for their detection and elimination;

Basic properties of metals;

Purpose of heat treatment of parts;

Construction of universal special devices and instrumentation;

System of admissions and landings;

Roughness qualities and parameters;

Technical specifications for assembly, repair and adjustment of units, components and devices;

Methods for identifying and ways to eliminate complex defects discovered during the repair, assembly and testing of units, components and devices;

Technical conditions for testing and delivery of units and components;

Technical specifications for repair, assembly, testing and adjustment of complex units and electrical equipment;

Purpose and rules for the use of complex testing facilities;

Design, purpose and rules for using control and measuring instruments;

Electrical and wiring diagrams of any complexity and the interaction of devices and assemblies in them;

Design of universal and special devices;

Frequency and scope of maintenance of electrical equipment and main components and assemblies of vehicles;

Causes of wear of associated parts and ways to identify and eliminate them;

Construction of test benches;

Rules and regulations on labor protection, industrial sanitation and fire safety;

Rules for the use of personal protective equipment;

Requirements for the quality of work performed;

2. Job responsibilities

2.1. Dismantling of units and electrical equipment of cars.

2.2. Determination and elimination of malfunctions in the operation of components, mechanisms, devices of cars and buses.

2.3. Chiseling, cutting with a hacksaw, filing, deburring, washing, threading, drilling holes on the jig in a car, cleaning off dirt, washing after disassembly and lubrication of parts.

2.4. Connecting and soldering wires to devices and electrical equipment units.

2.5. Dismantling of trucks, including special and diesel ones, passenger cars, buses over 9.5 m long and motorcycles.

2.6. Repair and assembly of diesel, special trucks, buses, motorcycles, imported cars, pickup trucks and minibuses.

2.7. Removal and installation of simple lighting fixtures.

2.8. Cutting, splicing, insulating and soldering wires.

2.9. Carrying out fastening work during the first and second maintenance, eliminating identified minor faults.

2.10. Carrying out fastening work threaded connections during maintenance with replacement of worn parts.

2.11. Disassembly, repair, assembly of complex units, components and devices and their replacement during maintenance.

2.12. Testing of cars and buses of all types at the stand.

2.13. Adjustment and testing of complex units, components and devices of automobiles on stands and chassis and their replacement during maintenance.

2.14. Checking parts and components of electrical equipment using testing equipment and testing devices.

2.15. Sorting out parts after disassembly and washing.

2.16. Metalworking of parts according to 12-14 qualifications using fixtures, metalworking and instrumentation.

2.17. Metalworking of parts according to 7-10 qualifications using universal devices.

2.18. Complex metalworking, finishing of parts to 6-7 qualifications.

2.19. Repair and installation of complex units and components.

2.20. Static and dynamic balancing of parts and assemblies of complex configuration, preparation of defective lists.

2.21. Installation of devices and electrical equipment units according to the scheme with their connection to the network.

2.22. Identification and elimination of complex defects and malfunctions in the process of repair, assembly and testing of units, automobile components and electrical equipment.

2.23. Diagnosis and adjustment of systems and assemblies of trucks, cars and buses that ensure traffic safety.

2.24. Management of workers of lower ranks of the same profession.

3. Types of work

A car repair mechanic of the 5th category performs the following types works:

3.1. Installation according to the complete scheme, connection to the network, checking and adjusting them during the maintenance of units and electrical equipment.

3.2. Balancing crankshafts with flywheels.

3.3. Repair, assembly, testing, elimination of defects on generators, stators, speedometers.

3.4. Assembly and testing of hydraulic lifts of the dumping mechanism.

3.5. Repair and assembly of torque converters.

3.6. Bench testing, adjustment, diagnostics of engines of all types and brands.

3.7. Maintenance, calibration and repair of instruments for testing transmissions, steering, flow meters and gas analyzers.

3.8. Replacing and adjusting bearings on front and rear axles, diagnosing brakes, steering, lighting and alarm systems.

3.9. Testing on a stand, adjustment, elimination of defects on ignition distributors, relay regulators.

3.10. Repair, assembly, installation and adjustment of hydraulic and pneumatic brakes.

3.11. Post-test bench testing, troubleshooting and final fastening of all cylinder connections, main and connecting rod bearings.
