Everyone strives to imitate their holiness and ability to be humble. Man’s hope in mercy is strengthened by the words of the Creator himself that He does not want the sinner to die, but wants the sinner to take the right path and remain alive.

Next, a beautiful hymn of gratitude to the Virgin Mary is read - Kontakion “To the Chosen Voivode...”. This chant was composed by Patriarch Sergius of Constantinople in connection with the miraculous intercession of the Orthodox Church. The inspirational hymn “To the Mounted Voivode...” was included in the Akathist to the Mother of God that already existed at that time.
