Water meters VSKM 90-15 designed for measuring the volume of network water according to SNiP 2.04.07 and drinking water according to GOST R 51232, flowing in supply or return pipelines closed or open systems heating, cold and hot water supply systems in the temperature range from 5 to 90°C at a pressure of no more than 1.0 MPa. The meters have a counting mechanism with roller and pointer indicators showing the measured volume in m3 and its fractions.

The operating principle of vane meters is based on measuring the number of revolutions of an impeller rotating at a speed proportional to the flow of water flowing in the pipeline.
Structurally, the meter consists of a housing with a filter, a measuring chamber and a counting mechanism placed in a glass made of non-magnetic material.
Water meters VSKM belong to the so-called “multi-jet” type of devices, when water enters the impeller through holes in the guide in which the impeller itself is located. This increases the accuracy of measurements, as well as the reliability of the water meter.

A specially selected font of numbers allows you to accurately determine meter readings under different angles review. The counting mechanism rotates 350 degrees, which ensures ease of use in any position and placement of the counter. In addition, the device has a special metal arrow indicator “MID-sensor” (in the DG version the arrow is made of plastic). In addition, the meter can be equipped with a pulse sensor (DG).
Principle of operation
The principle of operation of the water meter is to measure the speed of the impeller, which rotates under the influence of flowing water. The number of revolutions of the impeller is proportional to the amount of water flowing. The rotation of the impeller is transmitted to the counting mechanism through a magnetic coupling. The scaling gearbox of the counting mechanism adjusts the speed of the impeller to the values of flowed water in m³ and its fractions.
