Advertising Roots

The first attempts to promote goods on the market were made by merchants at the beginning of the 13th century. In 1994, A. Ardasenov, an ordinary student at an undistinguished university, got a job as a PR agent in the print publication Delovoy Express. He worked hard and one day in his diary he found an entry about his first 10-dollar fee, which he received on October 23. Alan decided that this was very symbolic and told his colleagues that October 23 would now be the day of the advertiser.

For some time, the holiday was celebrated in narrow circles, but, with revolutionary PR breakthroughs, the number of people involved in it also increased. By 2001, A. Ardasenov became the director of a large agency and decided to celebrate the day of the advertiser on a grand scale. For this purpose, one of the capital's Matrix clubs was rented, at Varvarka, house 14. The holiday was successfully repeated in 2002 in another Moscow club. Since 2003, PR Day has become popular in many cities of Russia and neighboring countries.

Modern advertising has little in common with the primitive slogans of the last century. Specialists do not appear out of thin air, but are trained in advertising skills at universities. There is a separate industry - political advertising, the highest echelon.

Then the desperate guy decided to go into advertising and got a job as an advertising agent in the newspaper “Business Express”. Over time, she began to receive more and more orders. One day Alan discovered a record of his first order in his old papers, and this prompted him to create a professional holiday for all Russian advertisers.

It was the day when he discovered the old recording that became the beginning of the countdown. Thanks to Ardasenov, this holiday appeared, because he could not celebrate alone - on the same day he notified all his colleagues about the event.
