In this section you will find online tests that will help you prepare for passing the OGE(GIA) in biology. We wish you success!

The standard OGE test (GIA-9) of the 2019 format in biology contains two parts. The first consists of 28 tasks with a short answer, the second - of 4 tasks with a detailed answer. In this regard, only the first part (i.e., the first 28 tasks) is presented in this test. According to the current exam structure, among these tasks, only 22 questions offer answer options. But for the convenience of passing tests, the site administration decided to offer answer options in all tasks. However, for tasks in which answer options are not provided by the compilers of real test and measurement materials (CMMs), the number of answer options has been significantly increased in order to bring our test as close as possible to what you will have to face in the end school year.

Changes in biology demo options

Demonstration versions of the OGE in biology 2009-2014 consisted of 3 parts: tasks with a choice of answers, tasks with a short answer, tasks with a detailed answer.

In 2013 in part 2 (B) was added practice-oriented task for correlation according to a given algorithm morphological features the organism or its individual organs with the proposed models.

In 2014 in demo version of the OGE in biology the following were introduced changes:

  • in part 1(A) it was on 2 abbreviated number of tasks,
  • in part 2 (B) there was added a new task with choosing three correct answers out of six;
  • in part 3(C) it was new task included on the application of biological knowledge in a practical situation;
  • the total number of tasks has not changed, but maximum primary score for execution exam paper increased from 43 to 46.

In 2015 in demo version of the OGE in biologythe structure of the variant has changed:

  • The option began to consist two-piece.
  • Numbering tasks became through throughout the entire version without letter designations A, B, C.
  • The form for recording the answer in tasks with a choice of answers has been changed: the answer now needs to be written down number with the number of the correct answer(not circled).

IN demo versions of the OGE 2016 - 2019 in biology compared to the 2015 demo version there were no changes.

The biology exam in grade 9 is included in the list of optional subjects available for elective examination. The subject is popular and a high percentage of students pass it with the maximum score.

Why choose OGE in biology?

  • At the 9th grade level, the material is quite simple.
  • The amount of information is small (biology is studied from grades 5 to 9, if educational institution or the direction of study is non-core).
  • After 9th grade with an exam in biology, you can enter/transfer to medical colleges and universities.
  • This is great training if you plan to take the Unified State Exam in biology in 11th grade.

Thus, the exam is most often chosen in two cases:

  • or the student does not yet have clear plans for studying, then the exam “wins” due to its simplicity;
  • or, on the contrary, the further program has already been determined and the plans include a specialized direction in high school or at a vocational school.

Another undeniable plus: questions and OGE assignments in biology remain virtually unchanged from year to year. When preparing, you can use not only materials from 2018-2019, but even from the period 2015-2017. Also, the test collections include additional exercises that will not be found during the test itself, but will be extremely useful for honing your skills in taking and passing the test - we recommend paying attention to them.

Biology exam structure

  • Duration: 180 minutes (3 hours).
  • Volume: 32 questions.
  • Test format: 2 parts (with a short answer and with an extended comment).
  • The use of materials during delivery is prohibited.

You can group tasks:

- by difficulty level

  • basic – 22 tasks (1-22)
  • advanced – 7 tasks (23-29)
  • high – 3 tasks (30-32)

- according to execution format

Tasks 1-22: the answer is written down using one number (form No. 1).

Example

People use mold fungi for:

    1. baking bread
    2. forage ensiling
    3. receiving cheeses
    4. preparing table wine
Answer: 3

Tasks 23-28: the answer is written down as a sequence of numbers (form No. 1).

Example

Insert the missing terms from the proposed list into the text “Types of Cells”, using numerical notations. Write down the numbers of the selected answers in the text, and then write the resulting sequence of numbers (according to the text) in the table.

TYPES OF CELLS
First on the way historical development organisms with small cells with a simple organization appeared - _________ (A). These prenuclear cells do not have a formal _________(B). They contain only the nuclear zone containing _________(B) DNA. Modern _________(G) and blue-greens have such cells.

List of terms:

  1. chromosome
  2. prokaryotes
  3. cytoplasm
  4. ring molecule
  5. unicellular animal
  6. bacterium
  7. eukaryotes

Main topics when passing the OGE in biology

To diversify your preparation, the OGE tasks in biology 2019, like the tasks of previous years, can be grouped by topic. They also differ quantitatively: in some places there will be only 1-2 questions, but extensive topics cover large volume material and number up to 50-60.

  • The role of biology in the practical activities of people
  • Cellular structure of organisms
  • Unicellular and multicellular organisms. kingdom mushrooms
  • Plant Kingdom
  • Animal Kingdom
  • Similarities between humans and animals and differences from them
  • Neurohumoral regulation of vital processes
  • Support and movement
  • Internal environment
  • Transport of substances
  • Nutrition. Breath
  • Metabolism. Selection. Coverings of the body
  • Sense organs
  • Psychology and human behavior
  • Compliance with sanitary and hygienic standards

  • Missing terms and concepts from those proposed
  • Correlation of morphological characteristics of an organism
  • Working with biological text
  • Statistical data presented in tabular form
  • Determining energy expenditure and preparing a diet
  • Rationale for rational and healthy nutrition

Pay attention to the last four topics. Their knowledge will be required if you plan to pass the second part of the OGE test in biology (29-32/C1-C4) with high scores.

Assessments and criteria

The assessment of the OGE in biology is structured as follows.

To convert ratings to a five-point scale, you can use this table:

Five-point scale

Score for the OGE in biology

The minimum passing score is 13. To achieve it, you must solve at least 13 basic level tasks without errors.

When a subject has been selected for passing, a logical question arises: how to prepare for the OGE in biology?

We give advice, following which you can prepare and pass with a high score.

  1. Start preparing early. It happens that all the attention is drawn to the main exams (Russian language and mathematics), and there is absolutely not enough time for biology and other additional exams. Don’t be nervous: if you prepare to pass well, you will succeed. short term(although, of course, it’s better not to delay). The main thing is to identify difficulties and weak spots, plan your preparation wisely and strictly follow the intended structure.
  2. Determine your level of knowledge on the subject. You can do this either with the help of a tutor or by yourself - all you need to do is solve several test options without preparation and evaluate the result. This will help identify weak points and “sinking” topics. Once you understand all these points, you can begin planning your preparation.
  3. Carry out constant monitoring. Get into the habit of tracking and checking the results of your preparation. If you take courses or with a tutor, then your actions are regulated by the teacher and corrected if necessary. But this does not free you from the need to independently track your own steps, successes and, on the contrary, weaknesses.
  4. Remember about the possibility of filing an appeal. This advice is for the most extreme cases. But if a situation suddenly arises where you need to challenge the fairness of the assessment, why not use it.

If you consciously chose to take biology, and the results will be useful in the future, then we wish you success! We remind you that if you have difficulties preparing for the OGE in biology, you can always sign up for courses at Ruseducenter.

Classes at the Ruseducenter training center are held in 2 branches at the addresses:

Yulia Tsvetova:

THIS WILL HAPPEN SOONER OR LATER

I was reluctant to prepare for biology. I took it without tutors, because in the year when I wrote the OGE, the grade for the optional exam was not included in the certificate. I studied every day, Gushchina decided, I read a lot of literature, but, of course, I didn’t remember everything. I worked more on the second part. At first it was not very scary, I was practically not worried at all until the exams themselves began. I was scared by this whole atmosphere and the fact that something could go wrong.

The exam itself was quite stressful, because in the instructions for the OGE in biology it was written that we could have calculators with us, but everything was taken away from us at the entrance. Then panic began. I told the teacher who led me into the classroom that we had no right to take away the calculator. Then they finally returned him.

Subscribe to "PU" intelegram . Only the most important things.

The exam itself turned out to be difficult. If you don't know biology, or think that it is an easy subject that you can pass by luck, then it is not so.

The teachers looked at us all the time, there were many inspectors in the corridors who escorted us to the toilet. I was more afraid not of the exam itself, but of its results later, but it turned out that not everything was so bad.
I told myself: “Time is still ticking, this will happen sooner or later.” You need to face your fears, and also drink Glycine.

Alexey Burmin:

YOU NEED TO STUDY ALL YEAR

It all started with the fact that the school year did not promise anything new except preparation for the exam. Everything went as usual. We learned a lot of new things and repeated even more old ones. I got bored with the gradual preparation for exams, and I decided to just sit in biology lessons, not write anything down, but listen to the smart speeches of the teacher, which I liked.

I didn't think it would help me pass my exams because I was overconfident and thought I knew everything. Having written a trial exam with an unsatisfactory grade, I decided that I should look through the textbook and notebooks a little, but soon I somehow abandoned this matter. The day before the exam, I didn't feel nervous at all. I thought that the exam was like an Olympiad, where I often attended, but with more difficult tasks and strict control.

The day of the exam has arrived. We entered the classroom and I, completely unprepared, began to write. All the questions were very familiar. On the one hand, I did not regret that I did not prepare for the OGE, because I had free time. On the other hand, I felt a little sad because I could have written for more points.

In the end, I want to say that whether to prepare for the exam or not is everyone’s decision. I can only advise you to study all year.

Natalya Vinogradova:

BIOLOGY IS CRAMMING

I can say that the OGE in biology is cramming. I took more than 150 tests while preparing for the exam, I used the group in social network. Never rely on luck - study all topics. I didn’t study the material very deeply, and it was on this topic that I came across four questions.

Don't take a sedative - it will only make the situation worse. Don’t worry, but you definitely need to write cheat sheets. There is no need to take them with you - this is just to remember the information.

Naturally, like other students, I was worried, afraid, and thought that I wouldn’t pass, but when I saw the assignments, I realized that I was preparing for the worst.
The exam may be different for everyone. For example, we were let out one at a time to the toilet, and one boy left for 40 minutes. When they found him, he said that he was not feeling well, and he was given 30 minutes more time to write the OGE. We left water in the corridor.

In fact, it’s okay, but I, for example, advise you to think only about yourself at this moment and no one else.

“If a student gives the wrong answer, I don’t tell him about it right away. Instead, I ask why he thinks this way and how he came to this conclusion. Only by communicating and interacting with the material can a student learn. You cannot operate with only one correct answer. I am close to Socrates’ ideas about teaching.”

“I think teaching is more than just imparting knowledge of a subject. The teacher’s task is to make the subject interesting, show its internal structure and logic, teach the student to think within the framework of this structure, and establish connections between individual topics, as well as with other areas of science. Biology is very fascinating and closely related to other sciences. We use math to make calculations, draw on concepts from physics, draw on chemistry, and even discuss ethical and economic issues. Biology concerns us all - we are part of living nature, we constantly interact with it and often use it for our own purposes. I want to show students that knowledge about our body and the world that surrounds us is very important for everyone, and the relevance of biological and medical research will only grow.”

The most important quality good teacher, in my opinion, this is a genuine interest in one’s own subject, which is certainly passed on to students. However, more practical teaching skills are also important, such as planning lessons, selecting materials and developing interesting, interactive activities. This is the only way to make the learning process both effective and fun. I try by any means to increase students’ interest in the humanities and instill in them such skills as are necessary today, such as critical thinking, text analysis, and the ability to express one’s thoughts in writing in a clear and structured manner.”

“Confidence and love for the subject being studied. Without these two qualities, I am sure that real study will not happen. A person can learn something, and produce knowledge when necessary, but true understanding of a subject occurs only when a person sincerely believes that this subject is part of him. And the student achieves this through questioning, arguing, thinking and taking risks.”
