When laying the facing material, constantly check the height of the steps using building level. A difference of even a few millimeters will lead to the fact that the residents of the house will constantly stumble on such a high or low step. A maximum deviation of the tread in height is allowed up to 5 mm. To adjust the height use concrete solutions with reinforcing mesh.
