The material used to finish the concrete staircase must be as durable as flooring in the rest of the room. Ideally, it is recommended to use one type of wood. The thickness of cladding boards must be at least 30 mm, otherwise their rigidity will not meet operational requirements.

When laying the facing material, constantly check the height of the steps using building level. A difference of even a few millimeters will lead to the fact that the residents of the house will constantly stumble on such a high or low step.
