This white lily was my very first. I planted a purchased bulb of 16/18 size. This means that its circumference is from 16 to 18 cm. The shoots were low, about 70 cm, but strong, like twigs. There were from 3 to 5 buds. The size of the flower of this white lily is large, approximately 20 cm in diameter when fully opened. The color of the lily is pure white. I liked the leaves: dark green, matte, ovate in shape rather than lanceolate. In general, Alma-Ata is beautiful, but due to its short stature, small selection can be planted only for the soul. But for business you need to take it so that the height of the stem reaches at least 90 cm.

My friends compared this lily to the white foam of the sea. And indeed, its blossoming flowers slightly curl their petals upward. Therefore, the flower turns out airy, as if saturated with air! From a distance, the plantings of Casa Blanca, touched by the wind, seem like the surf. I planted the bulbs in the spring in 16/18 batches. The shoots were tall, about 100 cm. There were 4-6 buds on the stem. In general, it was good, but in some (single) specimens the stems were bent. In general, I think it’s because of the weight of the huge, 25 cm in diameter, white flowers. I really liked Casa Blanca. I kept it for beauty. This white lily blooms in the garden at the end of July - beginning of August.

Which is popular as a cut variety. The development period for Siberia is 16 weeks. This means that from the moment the seedling appears until flowering, 110-120 days should pass. I planted 18/20 parsing bulbs. The height of the shoots was quite good, 90-100 cm, and the number of buds did not disappoint: consistently 5 pieces. The flower is large and snow-white. The leaves are dark green, long, drooping. And the stem was partially drooping, the lilies were bending. Typically, weak stems occur due to lack of light. But my lighting was good. Apparently for Siberia it is necessary to add calcium before planting (I didn’t do this) to strengthen the stems.

In order not to miss, I took the bulbs of this white lily of the largest size 20/22. I really wanted the stems to be taller than a meter and the buds to be at least five. The expectations were justified. My lilies grew 100-120 cm tall, there were no buds less than 6, and on some shoots there were 7 and 8. The leaves of this variety are matte, rather light green. The flower is very large, 25 cm in diameter, as if from white wax, directed to the side. I never had such huge lilies again. Beautiful variety. But there was an unexpected problem. Unexpected, since I encountered the phenomenon for the first time. And Caroline Tensen is apparently prone to this physiological phenomenon. So we had to urgently fight. Shade, reduce temperature by spraying cold water during the hottest hours. But still I didn’t have time to save some specimens. They were never able to bloom. It's a pity. But in future I will be smarter. No need to take the largest one planting material. Lilies grown from it most often suffer from leaf burn (with the exception of very few varieties).

I planted in the fall analysis 14/16. I bought it on sale at a reduced price towards the end of October. I knew that I wouldn’t have Asian women until spring. So I planted it, one might say, under the snow. Of course, they sprouted a little late in the spring, but that’s it! Not a single onion was lost, which I was very happy about. After all, it is known that varieties with all sorts of delights, such as terry, are capricious by nature. But reality exceeded all expectations! Of course, my Asian girls did not grow tall; they were no taller than 60 cm. But there were a lot of buds, from 8 to 15. And all of them were terry, without pollen! Well, just a miracle! The small size of the bud, about 7 cm in diameter, was compensated by its volume due to its terry nature; it looked like a ball. And even one branch of this white lily looked wonderful, just like the oriental hybrids. It must be said that on next year they pleased and surprised me: each onion was divided into 2, or even three. So my population of white lily Anna Maria Dream doubled in the second year.
