Shivaki TV repair instructions and diagrams. Shivaki TV repair instructions and diagrams Electrical diagram of TV model 2197 shivaki

Repair of electronic equipment usually begins with its external inspection and fault diagnosis. In this case, you should inspect all the internal components of the SHIVAKI STV-19LEDG7 TV, as well as the external elements of the case. Often, based on certain external signs, it may be possible to draw certain conclusions about the reasons for the failure of certain circuit elements even before the necessary measurements are taken, which will make it possible to determine a further algorithm for troubleshooting and localizing the defect. In some cases, faulty elements are visible to the naked eye, for example, charred resistors or swollen cermet capacitors, or electrolytic ones in rectifier filters. The resulting ring cracks in the soldering of transformer terminals or heating circuit elements are also frequent sources of many malfunctions with a wide variety of external manifestations.

If the power module is faulty, external manifestations may be different, for example, SHIVAKI STV-19LEDG7 does not turn on at all and there is no indication of control lights on the front panel. With the same symptoms, the power stabilizer (converter) of the control processor may be faulty. When diagnosing and repairing a power supply, first of all you should replace the swollen filter capacitors of the secondary rectifiers and check the fuse and, if it is broken, you need to identify the cause. Often in such cases, an avalanche (thermal) breakdown is detected in the power semiconductor elements of the module - rectifier diodes and transistors in the primary circuit.
The reasons for the breakdown of the power switch in switching power supplies (SMPS) can be different, for example, a malfunction of semiconductor elements or electrolytic capacitors in the stabilization circuits of the primary circuit, as well as a failure of the PWM regulator microcircuit or breaks in the resistors in its wiring.

If the SHIVAKI STV-19LEDG7 does not have a picture, but there is sound, the LQ185T1LGN3 panel backlight LEDs or their power converter may be faulty. You should also make sure that the electrolytic capacitors of the secondary rectifiers of the common power supply are in good condition.
It often becomes necessary to disassemble the panel to check the serviceability of the LEDs, as well as contact connections in connectors and solders.
When trying to detect a break in LED strings, keep in mind that it is difficult to do this without disassembling the panel. For example, a current source is needed to open PN junctions connected in series.

On the MSD309PX-LF-Z1 LTM185AT01 motherboard, in the event of a malfunction, you should first check the functionality of all stabilizers or power converters of the microcircuits and, if necessary, update the software (software).

Remember! Attempts at self-repair by users of the SHIVAKI STV-19LEDG7 TV without the appropriate qualifications and necessary experience can lead to serious negative consequences!

59.) SHIVAKI 143. In principle, the malfunction is the same as in Funai, Rekor and Akai. In the power supply, the loss of capacitance of the capacitor (I think S-508) is 47 µF x 25 V. Because of this, the voltage is too high and as a result: exploded capacitors 100x160V, a broken line transistor, today even a broken frame TA8403K.

102.) SHIVAKI skips stations when tuning and does not hold APCG. Adjusting the contours doesn't help. Capacitors inside the circuits are faulty (capacity decreases). Repair: unsolder the circuit, remove the capacitor, solder the circuit in place and select the capacitance of the capacitor experimentally. Second option: if space allows, you can install circuits from our SMRK (this is so you don’t have to worry about selecting a container)

174.) Shivaki STV-209. At the maximum volume level there is a weak, barely audible sound. Resistance between 13 pins. is. TA8701 and mass = 5 Ohm. The amplitude limiter diode inside the circuit breaker is broken.

188.) SHIVAKI STV2810 After switching on, an image of a key and four stripes for entering a code (Watchdog function) appear on the screen. After turning on the TV, press simultaneously on TV (P+ P-). Each time you press, the bar is crossed out, after the last one the TV turns on. Processor ST6387B1

266.) I would like to make some generalizations about the experience of repairing many TVs: SAMSUNG, FUNAI, AKAI, SHARP, SHIVAKI, ORION and other companies regarding the defect of tuning frequency loss, reduction (distortion) of sound and loss (blinking) of color in SECAM. This means the case when the tuner and processor are fine, which is most often the case. So, all these defects are caused by low-quality circuits: along the 1st IF in the “AFT” adjustment circuit, the audio IF reference circuit and the SECAM recognition circuit, respectively. (See also secret. No. 6, 65, 102, 122).

I distinguish 3 stages of malfunction.

1 - Initial. All of the above defects can easily be eliminated by a small (+ - 1 turn) adjustment of the corresponding circuits (the circuits are found from the inscriptions on the board, either by analyzing the TV circuit, or, in extreme cases, by trial method).

2 - Increasing. The steps are the same, but the settings are not so clear, they are very critical and over time (weeks, months) require repeated manipulations.

3 - Chronic. By adjusting the circuit cores it is not possible to achieve any acceptable reception quality and stability. So, most likely, in all cases, the ceramic capacitor built into the circuit is to blame (the occurrence of conductivity and a change in the electrical permeability of the dielectric and, as a consequence, a change in capacitance, and the coil core [secret No. 122] probably has nothing to do with it).

Recommendations. At the 1st stage, you can limit yourself to adjusting the circuit core. At the 2nd stage - adjustment with subsequent observation, or replacement of the circuit. At the 3rd stage - replacement (repair) of the circuit. I am repairing the circuit according to secret. No. 102. I solder the circuit and break out the capacitor in its lower part (cylindrical on ceramic without a protective coating). I install the circuit in its original place and solder a hanging capacitor (KM, CT) of 43 - 56 pF on the side of the tracks (I had no problems with the selection, usually 47 or 51 pF [for f = 38 MHz] come right away). Next, all that remains is to adjust the core according to the image or sound (with color, I have so far only managed by adjusting the native circuit) and check the operation of AFT on different channels. This defect in TVs appears, according to my observations, somewhere after 3-5 years of operation and probably in more than 50% of devices of this class.

282.) Shivaki STV-2110M4. The power supply starts up unstable; if it starts up, the voltages are reduced by about half. Checking and replacing the STRS-6707 microcircuit harness and replacing the microcircuit itself did not lead to anything. The reason turned out to be an optocoupler, through which feedback comes from the secondary windings of the BPI to the STRS.

283.) TV Shivaki STV-140M4 MK2. The standby indicator is on, but the device cannot be removed from the standby either from the remote control or the keyboard. The reason turned out to be a break in a low-power 100 kOhm resistor - it is located in a transistor switch that switches 112 V from the power supply to the TV circuit.

359.) TV SHIVAKI 209. The power supply voltage jumps with all the consequences. The raster is breathing, inversion, etc. The voltage on the light bulb does not change, but it is lowered to 80 instead of 103. I change the TDKS the same way. I change the STR and there is no voltage. I think I got a broken one. I put another one in, the lamp is on, the voltage is normal, after 2 minutes it turns off. It turned out that in order to stabilize the power supply, the voltage is removed from the line switch, a special winding, rectified and used for control

STRkoy. We replace the capacitance of 1 µF x 160 V in the circuit of this winding and everything returns to normal.

449.) A Shivaki TV was repaired in a lifeless state. After opening it, it turned out that the power supply was faulty. The scheme turned out to be standard; it was repeatedly described in repair secrets (30). The circuit is reliable and is used in many TVs (AIWA, RECOR, AKAI, etc.) The fuse turned out to be intact; there is no output voltage, and the key transistor heats up as if in working condition. It turned out that the TPI (turn-to-turn short circuit) had failed. This or anything similar was not available in the workshops either. I had to get out of the situation by adapting TPI 8-1 from TV ALPHA in its place. The main problem is installation because... TPI 8-1 is larger than the original one, but this problem is also solved by making an adapter board from PCB. By connecting the terminals of TPI 8-1 according to the circuit diagram, the TV started working and has been working for more than a year.

559.) Several TVs “AKAI”, “SHIVAKI” and some Chinese had a malfunction: after 5-15 seconds of operation the device stopped responding to any buttons on the panel and remote control, turned off spontaneously, terribly whistled TDKS, etc. . Quartz generation, power supply, ROM polling, etc. were all normal. Replacing with a new processor would have been too expensive for the client’s pocket. The TV started up by supplying power to the control processor through the 1N4001 diode. That is, the power supply became not 5V, but approximately 4.4 V. In the same way, sometimes it is possible to launch “buggy” VCRs.

596.) Shivaki CTV-143M4. The power supply does not start, the fuses do not light. The voltage at the base of Q504 (2SD1545) is 0.4 volts, which is clearly lower than required for opening Q504. When checking the parts, a faulty capacitor C510 (internal break) was discovered connected to the self-generation winding 10-9. After replacing the C510 everything is OK. This advice applies to BP. TV.AKAI, CONTEC, RECOR, etc. with well-known drying capacitors 47/16V. in the key database.

604.) Shivaki STV202 The voltage at the output of the power supply is more than 150 volts. If replacing the containers does not help, check R504-6k8 - it can increase to 12k

630.) SHIVAKI STV-143M4 When turned on - a squeak, the synchronization page fails, after 5-10 minutes. works fine - cause C435.

650.) Shivaki STV-206M4 There is no sound and there is no color in the SEKAM system, but there is color in Pal. After quite a long troubleshooting, it turned out that the voltage on the TDA1940 chip is 5 pins. overestimated; a capacity of 0.22 m * 50 V is connected to it. After replacement, performance was completely restored.

675.) SHIVAKI STV208M4. I often come across these TVs because the containers in the power supply dry up. In this case there was such a manifestation: the raster has the shape of a trapezoid - it is narrowed at the top and wrapped along the line, a strong lack of alignment is noticeable, the SR and BP squeak from overload. In addition to the capacitors in the power supply and the broken transistor BUT11 - standby mode (replaced with KT854A), the deflection system turned out to be faulty. Moreover, all TVs of this model have a wide neck, but this one had a narrow neck! I couldn’t find a suitable OS, so I installed one for a wide neck, wrapping it with fabric tape. It didn't turn out very well - there was a large spread of green and purple lines along the edges of the raster, but the client was happy with it.

701.) SHIVAKI STV-141M4. When you turn on the TV, it goes into standby mode. Output voltages are greatly reduced. When checking the voltage on the TDA4601 chip, only 7v was found on pin 9, which is not enough to start the power supply. The reason, as always, is obvious: the C807 has dried out. Also in this TV the power supply of the VU was reduced to only 100v instead of 180v, the C431 dried out.

741.) TV Shivaki: in the center of the screen there is a bright horizontal stripe, above and below which a highly distorted (in the sense of vertical linearity) image is visible, while the vertical size of the raster is reduced, and when you try to adjust it, it turns up. There is no horizontal distortion, the size is about business (slightly large). According to the owners, the defect occurred suddenly while the TV was operating. When checking, the output voltages of the power supply are normal. The defect turned out to be not in the CD: the microcircuit and wiring are working, the 100mf X 160V capacitor, which is directly at the “+” input of the TDKS, is faulty (broken). The voltages taken from the TDKS are: 12V - 12V, 25V - 21V, 40V -36V, 180V - 230V.

1104.) Shivaki STV-2012M4. Processor - M34300-230SP. In addition to secrets 1069, 1072. Not controlled, displays 1 channel. The reason is that several diodes leaked near the processor in the button circuits. Diode leakage is on the order of a kilo-ohm. (water got into the device).

1111.) Daewoo, Shivaki. Radio channel on TA8701AN.

1 - The sound is either completely absent or at maximum. Replacement TA8701AN.

2 - reception periodically deteriorates on all channels. The reason is the ring cracks on the AGC trimming resistor.

1190.) Shivaki STV1459. No sound, poor image, no signal identification - the capacitance in circuit L1 is faulty. Change to 22 pF

1218.) Shivaki STV-143M. Does not respond to the PROGR+- and VOL+- buttons. I fried the TMP47C434 - it didn’t help. Changed the memory - OK. But after 2-5 seconds the channel tuning frequency goes away, then abruptly returns. The VT signal on the tuner changes from the tuning voltage down. The day was tormented. In conclusion, I removed the condenser from the APCG circuit, but did not install a new one, because everything became normal after the core was turned!

1260.) Shivaki STV208M4. Classic BPI (Amcol, Akai, Rekor,...) the power supply does not start, the output voltages are zero. A standard check of the circuit yielded nothing. After checking the TPI on the generator, the unit started up and worked for several hours. Then it turned off and stopped starting again. Replaced TPI TL3913-52 with HL-4025B. I take MP3-3 as a generator, load the 125 V output from the transformer with the TPI under study, turning off the power switch collector.

1263.) SHIVAKI STV-217MULTI does not go into standby mode completely, but only partially. When this function is turned on, the sound and image are turned off, but the lowercase remains fully operational (there is high voltage, the kinescope is heated, etc.) The reason is that Q605 (2SC2335 or analogue) in the 115 volt circuit is broken.

1286.) Shivaki STV208M4. The TDA3653B frame was broken. The reason turned out to be, as usual, due to the overvoltage of the power supply. After replacing the dried out condensers in the power supply unit, the power returned to normal. A month later, the TDA3653B.BP re-flights is normal. When measuring the power supply, frame 50V instead of 28V (under load). At the same time, all other supplies with TDKS 154-165D are normal. (channel +16V, incandescent). The lowercase frequency is normal. I tried to replace the power supply connectors with a lowercase one. There is no such condenser as in DAEWOO DMQ(DTX)-2195, 21С2, 20B1 on the CP-330 chassis and DMQ-2127, 2157 on the S-50 chassis (there is a C435 33x160V hanging on the 4th leg of the TDKS). Why did the staffing voltage double? It happened on New Year’s Eve (I’m still sober but the roof is going crazy). I disconnected everything from the personnel power channel, replaced the diode, loaded the channel with a load of 1-2 amperes, power supply 40-50 V. The poor TDA3653B usually smokes immediately in such conditions. There was no TDKS at hand. I took it upon myself, at the request of the owner to make a TV for the holidays at least temporarily, I plugged Rogr = 100 ohm 20 W into the TDA3653B power circuit. The power supply on it became 28V. The TV started working. Now the only problem is to force the owner to bring the box back and pay extra for TDKS. I think that’s the reason, although the physics of the defect is not clear.

1287.) Shivaki STV208M4. When you switch channels, a high-quality picture appears and the setting immediately disappears until the signal disappears completely. With heating, the defect is eliminated. Radio channel on TA7680AP .L202 L203 we break out the built-in conduits and suspend 100 and 130 pf, respectively. The tuning of both circuits is very fine. When setting up, be sure to connect an external speaker (you can get a high-quality picture but no sound).

1340.) Supra STV 2112W aka Shivaki STV-2017M4. The defect is worthy of attention. Came in for repair with a broken HOT. After the replacement, in the evening, when leaving standby mode, the transistor was knocked out again. During further repairs, an interesting feature was noticed. When the device is switched to standby mode, the line does not turn off. When turned on, as in American cinema, the TV began to work instantly. In standby mode on MS TDA2579V, (master) in standby mode there is no supply voltage. I shorted the output of ms to ground to ground, the lower case still works. I put the base of the pre-output tr-ra on ground, the devil is working in full mode. The defect turned out to be in the 115 volt power supply. Made in the same way as in the old GoldStar, two containers, one after the diode, the second after the inductor. The second one was dry. The TMS power supply is also taken from 115, and the interference from the horizontal scan was enough to support generation on the TMS.

1357.) Shivaki STV208M4. After a couple of hours of operation it turns off. The standby mode indicator glows at full intensity and cannot be turned on by the remote control. After disconnecting from the network, it can turn on only after a while. The reason is the zener diode D114 (5.2v). He raised the processor power to 2 volts.

1614.) SHIVAKI STV-2119 does not turn on, externally all the parts are intact, I also checked, I replaced the PC817 and the SE120 TV worked.

1628.) Shivaki STV-2016. The power supply does not start, the reverse resistance of diode D804 (1N4937 600V, 1A) is too low. After replacing the diode, the power supply starts up, but after 2-3 seconds it turns off. The optocoupler LV 817 is faulty. In standby mode B+40V, in operating mode 103 V.

1658.) Shivaki STV1414 multi Malfunction manifestation: there is sound, it responds to the remote control, there is no raster. There is no horizontal scan start, based on the 0V output transistor. Reason: break of TMS (primary winding). I restored it, I didn’t have to rewind it, there was a break near the leg, after restoration everything was ok.

1676.) SHIVAKI VT-14MK-II monoblock. Fault: does not turn on. The power supply is assembled on two TEA2261 controllers and

TEA5170. I checked the presence of trigger pulses on the 14th leg of TEA2261. The generator relaxes, as if trying to start, but it doesn’t start. The pulses jump at intervals of 1 second. The supply voltage also jumps in time with this. The output transistor BUV48B is OK. The TEA5170 secondary controller and its circuits are normal. I also checked all the wiring: capacitors, resistors, and so on. All parts were in good working order, and I checked them by replacement. But this also did not bring results. Only after replacing the 151-480A pulse transformer did the monoblock work normally. In general, pulse transformers fail quite rarely, but nevertheless, in this device they sometimes apparently occur.

1696.) Shivaki STV-143M4 Does not turn off during standby. mode. Only the sound is turned off. The reason is a 47 micron 160V capacitor installed before the key transistor that switches the 120V supply to the horizontal scan. The capacitor broke due to overheating due to excess power in standby mode. The reason is the notorious 47 microns in the base circuit of the UPS key.

1697.) Shivaki STV-143M4 The tuner ranges switch spontaneously. When the board is bent at the location where the tuner is installed, the defect is eliminated. The owner of the device has already gone as far as hanging a weight from the tuner, but the breakdown has progressed. The reason was a factory blunder. The resistor lead was bent and, in the place of the board slide, was pressed against the adjacent conductor on the board. After 8 years of using the TV, it pushed through the varnish and began to fail by supplying 16V to the input of the tuner range switch.

1707.) Shivaki STV210M4. The raster is compressed vertically. There is a wide black line in the shape of an arrow on the screen. The frame scan was collected on the TDA1170N m/s. Capacitance C305 (470.0x25V) is faulty

1765.) Shivaki STV-1439. The EASTKIT 87CK38N 2B46 controller (V supply 5v) gradually refused to work, at first it began to rebuild itself, and then simply turned off the TV. The remote control did not respond at all. A diode in direct connection V supply has been added to the parametric stabilizer supply controller in series with the zener diode. became 5.6 v. everything came to life.

1925.) Shivaki STV-208M4. Rustling and crackling sounds on the audio channel, interference in the image. You can see how the contact sparks at the junction of the radiator of the line transistor with the ground of the TV. Interestingly, the transistor is in an insulated housing. I installed an additional mica insulator.

1926.) Shivaki STV-208M4. When turned on, a squeaking sound of a short circuit in the CP is heard. Output voltage is about 80 V. Kinescope with a narrow neck. The OS was replaced during the previous repair with an OS for a wide neck. The deflection system failed again. The reason is incorrect installation of the new OS. She pressed with all her weight on the upper coils, where she burned out.

1996.) Shivaki STV-1489 There is no control of the TV from the buttons on the front panel, everything is fine from the remote control, everything turned out to be ridiculously simple - apparently in Kaliningrad where this TV was assembled, they forgot to insert the connector from the control board to the main board, but the TV still under warranty. By the way, this is not the first time that imported Russian-assembled equipment has come across this type of “defect.”

2138). Radioimport-M LLC, Kaliningrad) are completely unsoldered. And the reason was in a ceramic capacitor standing parallel to the diode of the power supply rectifier +B on the line - periodic internal breakdowns were calculated by heating and tapping.

2217.) SHIVAKI STV-2029 Malfunction: no color in Secam (normal in PAL). It turned out that the Secam recognition voltage was not enough. The defect is eliminated by installing a resistor between the video input and the 5 volt power supply.

2222.) SHIVAKI STV-2024M4 Malfunction: small horizontal size, vertical rotation voltage from power supply - 75v instead of 115v. Loss of filter capacitance. C610 (47.0 * 50V) was replaced in the base circuit of the power transistor, D605 - (to the heap) there were cases when it periodically leaked! (there was a variable component in this case the capacitor was heating up)

2400.) SHIVAKI STV-142M4, chassis PC-04A. Malfunction: SECAM shows horizontal colored lines, sometimes blue, sometimes red. In PAL the color is normal. It is necessary to replace the AN5633K (SIC501) chip. After replacing the TV worked fine. The defect occurred after the power supply failed.

2421.) Shivaki STV2029. Malfunction: the TV arrived with a broken horizontal power transistor - NOT (a partial breakdown, which indirectly indicates overheating). After the replacement, I noticed the incorrect shape of the pulse based on the NOT. The reason is the filter electrolyte in the TMS power circuit (47x16V). After the replacement, a strange glitch emerged. The device seems to work normally, but after switching off the line continues to work (the raster disappears, but the high voltage is still there. The personnel line also works (a rumble can be heard). There are some strange impulses on the 27th leg of the LA76810A, despite the fact that it is fully powered removed. The reason turned out to be in the pre-output cascade of lines - the RC circuit from the 2SC2331 collector to ground turned into a DC circuit - instead of a resistor, a 1N1448 diode was installed with the cathode on the collector. The soldering is factory, a resistor is drawn on the back side of the board. After installation, instead of the diode, a 2.4 resistor kOhm works fine. What is this, a mistake during assembly? And why did the TV work for a couple of years before this?

2463.) SHIVAKI STV-2010 Multi. Problem: Reverse lines at the top of the image to the middle of the screen. Faulty C307 4.7x160V, completely dried out.

2467.) Shivaki CTV 1414. Malfunction: received for repair, switches off, 14-hour run in high temperature conditions did not give anything. Communication with the owner revealed that the TV was operating in low temperature conditions; such conditions were created by a simple draft. After 20 minutes the TV went into standby mode. After turning it on again from the remote control, it worked for some more time and turned off, the LED on the front panel blinks, the voltage at the 5v stabilizer input is too low. I checked the voltage at the input of the STR-S6707 power stabilizer, it turned out to be insufficient, inspection of the soldering output of the srart power supply transformer (as indicated on the board) revealed that it was not soldered, loose soldering, this is in the anode circuit D809.

2570.) Shivaki STV2965 (produced in Kaliningrad) Malfunction: no raster, sound is normal. When checking, it was discovered that the accelerating electrode (G1) has a zero picture tube! The reason lay in the interelectrode short circuit on G2, which is electrically connected to the common bus. The problem was solved only by connecting G2 through an MLT-2 2 MΩ resistor to ground, having previously removed the jumper on the kinescope board instead of C630. As a result, the entire voltage drop was accounted for by the additional resistance. Complete isolation of G2 from the common bus, as well as its connection through a capacitor, only led to the appearance of discharges inside the kinescope socket. After this trick, the image quality did not change. The kinescope was TOSHIBA.

2670.) SHIVAKI STV2139 chassis N-702. Problem: the power supply on the STRF6654 does not start. On the 4th leg the power supply is 9.5 V, which is clearly not enough. The problem is in one of the two optocouplers with the clever name RS-17K1 940V. The phototransistor of the optocoupler is leaking, it sounds like 1.5-1.6 kOhm. Designated according to the I802 scheme and is responsible for stabilizing the power supply (the second is for standby mode). Replacement with PC817. All OK.

2690.) Shivaki STV-202M4 chassis PC-91A. Problem: when turned on, sound appears, but the screen is dark. The image appears with a delay of one to three to four minutes. The reason is capacitor C904 on the kinescope board 47 μF 16V.

2749.) Shivacki STV-2139, chassis H-702V. Malfunction: when turned on, it immediately goes into the rest. Dead memory 24C04. The TV turns on without memory. The clean one is stitched with the process. All that remains is to adjust it in the service. Entering SERVISE: from work. Dir. Press: display-mute-sleep-fuzzy.Adjust R,G,B: Display; geometry adjustment:sleep;selection of adjustment parameters-ch+,ch-; Change-vol+,vol-.

2922.) Shivaki STV208 MK4-II, Malfunction: arrived with a tightly punched NOTE. The voltage from the MP is normal - 115V, there are no surges. The castings in the MP are new, replaced during a previous repair, the TDKS is soldered, and the containers in the manifold are NOT. When replaced, the transistor lights up instantly. Everything was checked again: TDKS, OSKA, capacitors in the collector - the norm! I turned on the line through a 200W lamp, I measured the signal on the collector with an oscilloscope: shocked: the pulse duration is not 64 μs, but 80! In the heat of the moment I wanted to change the TA8659 processor, but the problem turned out to be the increased ESR of the processor power filter capacitor on the 40th leg (line start). After replacement - a beautiful oscillogram of 64 μs!

3025.) Shivaki STV-2029. Malfunction: when setting up programs, it is impossible to enter the first 2/3 of the scale of range 1. Digital tuner DT5-BF14D is faulty, successfully replaced with DT5-BF18D.

3203.) Shivaki STV-2029 LA76810 LA7642N Malfunction: if you remove saturation, a normal black and white image, when adding saturation, is filled with green without reverse until the image completely disappears, a beautiful green raster remains. Replacing the LA76810 with an LA76810A resolved the problem.

3283.) SHIVAKI STV 2012 M4 Malfunction: the image is low-contrast and oversaturated. Display of information on the screen is normal. The TV could spontaneously start working normally and work normally for several hours. After soldering the board and replacing the TA8659AN (installed on the panel), suspicions fell on the brightness signal delay line L201. Malfunctions of this type were also encountered in tube and semiconductor domestic color televisions. The LZYAS was desoldered, carefully cleaned and soldered the joints and soldering. Often faced with complex equipment and complex malfunctions, unfortunately, you forget about the simple.

SHIVAKI 143 In principle, the malfunction is the same as in Funai, Rekor and Akai. In the power supply, the loss of capacitance of the capacitor (I think S-508) is 47 µF x 25 V. Because of this, the voltage is too high and as a result: exploded capacitors 100x160V, a broken line transistor, today even a broken frame TA8403K.

SHIVAKI skips stations when tuning and does not hold APCG.

Shivaki STV-209. At the maximum volume level there is a weak, barely audible sound. Resistance between 13 pins. is. TA8701 and mass = 5 Ohm. The amplitude limiter diode inside the microcircuit is broken.

Shivaki STV-1463. When turned on, it immediately shows the service menu, cannot receive channels

Shivaki STV-2189(TMPA8891CPBNG6NA3). The raster is narrowed horizontally, the upper part of the image (frame) is distorted (inversion). The CP supply voltage is reduced to 70 V instead of + 112 V and is not adjustable. The cause of the malfunction is the V512 type transistor in the switching power supply

SHIVAKI STV2810 After switching on, an image of a key and four bars for entering a code (Watchdog function) appear on the screen. After turning on the TV, press simultaneously on TV (P+ P-). Each time you press, the bar is crossed out, after the last one the TV turns on. Processor ST6387B1

Shivaki STV-2110M4.

The standby indicator is on, but the device cannot be removed from the standby either from the remote control or the keyboard. The reason turned out to be a break in a low-power 100 kOhm resistor - it is located in a transistor switch that switches 112 V from the power supply to the TV circuit.

TV SHIVAKI 209. The power supply voltages jump with all the consequences.

Several TVs “AKAI”, “SHIVAKI” and some Chinese had a malfunction: after 5-15 seconds of operation, the device stopped responding to any buttons on the panel and remote control, turned off spontaneously, terribly whistled TDKS, etc. Generation of quartz , power supply, ROM polling, etc. everything was normal. Replacing with a new processor would be too expensive for the client’s pocket. I started the TV by supplying power to the control processor through the 1N4001 diode. That is, the power became not 5V, but about 4, 4V. In the same way, sometimes it is possible to launch “buggy” videotapes.

Shivaki CTV-143M4.

Shivaki STV202 The voltage at the output of the power supply is more than 150 volts. If replacing the containers does not help, check R504-6k8 - it can increase to 12k

SHIVAKI STV-143M4 When turned on - a squeak, the synchronization page fails, after 5-10 minutes. works fine - cause C435.

Shivaki STV-206M4 There is no sound and there is no color in the SEKAM system, but there is color in Pal. After quite a long troubleshooting, it turned out that the voltage on the TDA1940 chip is 5 pins. overestimated; a capacity of 0.22 m * 50 V is connected to it. After replacement, performance was completely restored.

SHIVAKI STV208M4.

SHIVAKI STV-141M4.

TV Shivaki: in the center of the screen there is a bright horizontal stripe, above and below which a highly distorted (in the sense of vertical linearity) image is visible, while the vertical size of the raster is reduced, and when you try to adjust it, it turns up.

Shivaki STV-2012M4. Processor - M34300-230SP. In addition to secrets 1069, 1072. Not controlled, displays 1 channel. The reason is that several diodes leaked near the processor in the button circuits. Diode leakage is on the order of a kilo-ohm. (water got into the device).

Daewoo, Shivaki. Radio channel on TA8701AN.

1 - The sound is either completely absent or at maximum. Replacement TA8701AN.

2 - reception periodically deteriorates on all channels. The reason is the ring cracks on the AGC trimming resistor.

Shivaki STV1459. No sound, poor image, no signal identification - the capacitance in circuit L1 is faulty. Change to 22 pF

Shivaki STV-143M.

Shivaki STV208M4. Classic BPI (Amcol, Akai, Rekor,:) the power supply does not start, the output voltages are zero.

SHIVAKI STV-217MULTI does not go into standby mode completely, but only partially. When this function is turned on, the sound and image are turned off, but the lowercase remains fully operational (there is high voltage, the kinescope is heated, etc.) The reason is that Q605 (2SC2335 or analogue) in the 115 volt circuit is broken.

Shivaki STV208M4.

Shivaki STV208M4.

Supra STV 2112W aka Shivaki STV-2017M4. In standby mode on m\s TDA2579V, (master) in standby mode there is no supply voltage. I shorted the output of the m/s to ground to ground, but the line still works.

Shivaki STV208M4.After a couple of hours of operation it turns off. The standby mode indicator glows at full intensity and cannot be turned on by the remote control. After disconnecting from the network, it can turn on only after a while. The reason is the zener diode D114 (5.2v). He raised the processor power to 2 volts.

SHIVAKI STV-2119 does not turn on, externally all the parts are intact, I also checked, I replaced the PC817 and the SE120 TV started working.

Shivaki STV-2016.

Shivaki STV1414 multi Malfunction manifestation: there is sound, it responds to the remote control, there is no raster. There is no horizontal scan start, based on the 0V output transistor. Reason: break of TMS (primary winding). I restored it, I didn’t have to rewind it, there was a break near the leg, after restoration everything was ok.

SHIVAKI VT-14MK-II monoblock.

Shivaki STV-143M4 Does not turn off during standby.

Shivaki STV-143M4 The tuner ranges switch spontaneously.

Shivaki STV210M4. The raster is compressed vertically. There is a wide black line in the shape of an arrow on the screen. The frame scan was collected on the TDA1170N m/s. Capacitance C305 (470.0x25V) is faulty

Shivaki STV-1439.

Shivaki STV-208M4. Rustling and crackling sounds on the audio channel, interference in the image. You can see how the contact sparks at the junction of the radiator of the line transistor with the ground of the TV. Interestingly, the transistor is in an insulated housing. I installed an additional mica insulator.

Shivaki STV-208M4.

Shivaki STV-1489 There is no control of the TV from the buttons on the front panel, everything is fine from the remote control, everything turned out to be ridiculously simple - apparently in Kaliningrad where this TV was assembled, they forgot to insert the connector from the control board to the main board, and the TV was still under warranty. By the way, this is not the first time that imported Russian-assembled equipment has come across this type of “defect.”

SHIVAKI STV-2999 After turning on, periodic clicks are heard in the speakers, similar to high-pitched breakdowns, after a few minutes the image disappears, then the frame disappears, stops responding to control, after resetting the processor everything is restored for a while... Our assembly, soviet (Radioimport LLC) M Kaliningrad) are completely unsoldered. And the reason was in a ceramic capacitor standing parallel to the diode of the power supply rectifier +B on the line - periodic internal breakdowns were calculated by heating and tapping.

SHIVAKI STV-2029 Malfunction: no color in Secam (normal in PAL). It turned out that the Secam recognition voltage was not enough. The defect is eliminated by installing a resistor between the video input and the 5 volt power supply.

SHIVAKI STV-2024M4 Malfunction: horizontal size is small, vertical rotation voltage from power supply is 75v instead of 115v. Loss of filter capacitance. C610 (47.0 * 50V) was replaced in the base circuit of the power transistor, D605 - (to the heap) there were cases when it periodically leaked! (there was a variable component in this case the capacitor was heating up)

SHIVAKI STV-142M4, chassis PC-04A. Malfunction: SECAM shows horizontal colored lines, sometimes blue, sometimes red. In PAL the color is normal. It is necessary to replace the AN5633K (SIC501) chip. After replacing the TV worked fine. The defect occurred after the power supply failed.

Shivaki STV2029.

SHIVAKI STV-2010 Multi. Problem: Reverse lines at the top of the image to the middle of the screen. Faulty C307 4.7x160V, completely dried out.

Shivaki CTV 1414.

Shivaki STV2965 (produced in Kaliningrad) Malfunction: no raster, sound is normal.

SHIVAKI STV2139 chassis N-702. All OK.

Shivaki STV-202M4 chassis PC-91A. Problem: when turned on, sound appears, but the screen is dark. The image appears with a delay of one to three to four minutes. The reason is capacitor C904 on the kinescope board 47 μF 16V.

Shivacki STV-2139, chassis H-702V.

Shivaki STV208 MK4-II, Malfunction: arrived with a tightly punched NOTE.

Repair of electronic equipment usually begins with its external inspection and fault diagnosis. In this case, you should inspect all the internal components of the SHIVAKI STV-24LED4 TV, as well as the external elements of the case. In some cases, visible external damage to elements can suggest directions for troubleshooting and localizing the defect even before the necessary measurements begin at the control points of electronic circuit components. Swollen electrolytic or metal-ceramic capacitors, charred resistors, ring cracks in the soldering of the terminals of the elements - all this can significantly help the technician determine the causes and consequences of problems that have arisen in the operation of the TV.

If the STV-24LED4 TV does not turn on, does not make any sounds when turned on, and no indicators on the front panel light up or blink, there is a high probability of a malfunction in the power module. In some cases, only the stabilizer or power converter of the control processor may be faulty, which is typical for some SHIVAKI models. Diagnosis and repair of a general power supply should always begin with checking the mains fuse and the condition of the electrolytic capacitors of the secondary rectifier filters. Faulty and swollen capacitors should be replaced with new ones. If the fuse breaks, it is advisable to check for breakdown, first of all, all the power semiconductor elements of the converter and the diode bridge of the network rectifier, as well as the large electrolytic capacitor of the network rectifier filter.
If a breakdown of the power switch is detected, it should be remembered that in a switching power supply (SMPS) it does not fail on its own without reasons, which should be looked for by checking other elements of the primary circuit - electrolytic capacitors, a PWM controller, which can only be checked replacement, as well as other semiconductor elements (diodes, transistors, zener diodes).

If, when you turn on the TV, the image appears and immediately disappears, or is absent initially when you turn it on, but there is sound and other functions work, there is a high probability of a malfunction of the LED driver (power converter for the M240HW01 v.B panel backlight LEDs). In such cases, the general power module must also be checked, in which the electrolytic capacitors of the rectifier filter feeding the LED driver should be checked.
In most cases where there is no backlight, it becomes necessary to disassemble the panel in order to check the LEDs, connectors, cables and all contact connections. If one or more LEDs in one line do not work, then they are broken and should be replaced.
It should be remembered that it is not possible to determine a break in LED lines without disassembling the panels using a tester or multimeter without an additional device, for example, a current source. To open all PN junctions connected in series at once may require a voltage of several tens of volts.

We remind users once again! Attempts to independently repair the SHIVAKI STV-24LED4 TV without the appropriate qualifications and experience can lead to its complete irreparability!
