Centering drills are available in two types: combined (Fig. 4.10, a) and feather drills (Fig. 4.10, b). They are subject to high requirements: for example, the runout of the cutting edges relative to the body axis should not exceed 0.02 mm for drills with a diameter of up to 3 mm and 0.03 mm for drills with a diameter over 3 mm.
