We connect points G1 and T1 with a smooth concave line using a pattern. And we connect points T1 and H1 with a straight vertical line.

Then we fold the first edge of the strip inward and roll it again. Repeat similarly with the second edge of the strip. And now we bend both edges in half and roll them again.

The result is a strip 1 cm wide.

The binding is ready, now let's start edging the apron.

First, we sew a 13 cm long trim to the top edge of the apron. Then we use trim (95 cm) around the edges of the apron, starting from the waist line on the right, stitch the bottom and end at the waist line on the left.

Now all that remains is to process the concave side sections of the apron and arrange the ties.

We take the binding 105 cm long and, retreating 40 cm from the top (for future ties), pin it with pins with a side cut of the apron.

We start sewing the seam on the machine from the top ties, smoothly moving to the concave edge of the apron. Without interrupting the stitching, we finish the seam at the ties intended for the waist. We repeat a similar procedure with the second trim.

Advice: When processing bias tape with ties, the sewing machine may chew on the cellophane. To prevent this from happening, you need to place a sheet of paper under the binding and sew it on a typewriter. Remove any remaining paper with tweezers or a needle.

So, the base of the apron is ready. All that remains is to decorate with applique.

Application

We will draw a template for the application or find it on the Internet.

We cut out a house from folders. This is a square 8x8 cm and a roof with sides of 10 cm. We make a window from an old textbook cover.

We cut the fence out of a brown bag folded in two layers. The length of the fence is 13 cm, height 4.5 cm. We create an imitation of planks by sewing vertical and horizontal stripes. If the cellophane slips and the stitching turns out crooked, then add a sheet of paper. Don't forget to remove any leftover paper.

We cut out the trunk, crown for the tree, clouds, sun and flowers from bags folded four times. This will make the application stronger and brighter. Before cutting out the parts, staple them in several places so that the design does not move. Then remove the staples.

We sew the finished parts to the apron.

To make a clearing, cut out a strip 62 cm long and 5 cm wide from a green bag folded in half. Using a machine, we sew a stitch for assembly and tighten the strip to 31 cm.

We set up a clearing, sun, clouds and rays on the apron.

We attach the flowers along the edge of the apron using a stapler or sew them on by hand.

Advice:To prevent the edges of the staples from catching on the clothing on the back side of the apron, turn the stapler over and attach the staples so that the edges meet on the front side of the apron.
