The raw material for the production of K-Flex Solar is artificial butadiene-acrinitrile rubber, which foams during processing and forms light cellular structure with closed cavities inside filled with air and inert gases. This determines the low weight of 1 m3 of material - within 75 kg and low vapor permeability and moisture absorption (resistance to water vapor penetration 4,000, thermal conductivity - below 0.042 W / (m. ° C) according to GOST 7076).

In terms of fire safety, K-Flex Solar HT belongs to materials of group G1 according to SNiP 21-01-97. The material practically does not burn and goes out in the absence of external sources open flame. But in rooms with high requirements for the release of toxic substances in case of fire, it is not recommended to use thermal insulation based on rubber.
