Construction waste can be used to load the mesh inside. To do this, the cavity inside the gabion, between the front sides, is first covered with geotextiles, and then placed various materials so that they do not protrude outward. The outer sides of the cage are lined with beautiful stones.

If you plan to make a high fence (up to 3 m) from gabions, then you can make it up from separate sections. But then you have to work a little harder. Because to be stable on top of each other, the structures will have to have a rigid frame. Typically sections are welded from metal corners, to which the mesh is then attached. Cells acquire more weight, but this becomes the key to stability, if, of course, you assemble the fence, withstanding vertical level. Of course, it is better to provide additional fixation of the cells to each other, at least the simplest one - with wire.
