Enjoy your meal!

The classic manna recipe assumes that it is prepared on the basis of a fermented milk product. Most often, housewives choose kefir. This makes the cake tall, fluffy and porous.

If you want to give the pie a creamier taste, try replacing the fermented milk product with sour cream or milk - then the manna will become softer and more elastic. If desired, you can put dried fruits, nuts or any berries into the dough. I used a few fresh cherries. The recipe is very simple, and the manna itself is easy to prepare. This requires a minimum of products that are likely to be found in any home. The pie turns out very tasty.

Preparation:

Remember the main secret of preparing classic manna: liquid products must be added to dry ones, and not vice versa. It is clear that the first thing you need to do is mix the dry ingredients in a bowl: flour, semolina, granulated sugar and soda.

Add eggs and kefir to this mixture. Many housewives first combine kefir with eggs and beat with a whisk, and only then add it to flour and semolina. But this is completely optional.

Mix everything well with a spoon. The dough should have a homogeneous viscous consistency with no lumps.

Grease a metal baking dish with vegetable oil. It needs to be coated wherever it comes into contact with the dough. If you have Silicone molds, then there is no need to oil it. Pour the mixture and distribute evenly over the pan.

Place cherries on top of the dough. When the pie begins to rise, the cherry will be in the middle and will be revealed only after you cut the manna into slices.

We send the form with its contents to the oven, preheated to 180 degrees, and leave it there for 30 - 40 minutes. Manna should be baked until golden brown.

Do not remove the manna from the mold until it has cooled. When hot it is very easy to break.

The finished pie can be sprinkled with powdered sugar on top, decorated with fondant, condensed milk or jam. You can serve manna with tea and coffee, and on hot summer days with cold milk. Bon appetit!

P.S.: You can tell about your secrets of preparing manna with kefir in the comments to the article. One simple recipe is good, but several are even better.

Pour the dough into a mold greased with vegetable or butter and bake in an oven preheated to 180 or 200 degrees. Baking time is approximately 35-45 minutes.

Delicious manna with coconut

Take for preparation:

  • 250 ml. low-fat kefir (you can use low-fat kefir);
  • wheat flour, sifted - a glass;
  • a glass of semolina;
  • a glass of sugar;
  • a bag of coconut flakes (approximately 100-120 g);
  • one egg;
  • odorless vegetable oil – 80-100 ml.;
  • sachet of baking powder – 10-15 g.
  • a pinch of salt.

Heat the kefir a little, pour it into the semolina and mix. The mass should be thick (thicker than sour cream), but without lumps.

Add coconut shavings and mix thoroughly so that the shavings are distributed throughout the mixture. Let these products stand for an hour at room temperature.

After an hour, mix in the egg, sugar, baking powder, sifted flour, vegetable oil. It is best to mix the ingredients for the dough with a blender or mixer, as the end result should be a well-mixed mass without lumps or clots. You need to add ingredients into the dough one by one.

As a result, you should get a mess, and I note that it will not become homogeneous, since coconut shavings are used.

Pour the dough into the mold and place in a preheated oven. Adjust the baking time yourself depending on the thickness of the poured layer and the temperature in the oven. It will take about an hour at 180 degrees. When a beautiful dark crust forms on the pie, check the manna with a match; if there is no dough left on the match after you stick it into your culinary masterpiece, the dish is ready.

You can serve coconut manna with syrups, chocolate, and decorate with the same coconut shavings. Allow the pie to cool before serving.

A simple recipe for manna on kefir with apples in a slow cooker (video)

All four recipes presented are perfect for baking this sweetness, in the oven, and in a slow cooker. The only thing that is important to take into account when preparing manna with kefir using an electrical appliance is that the bowls of multicookers, as a rule, are not large, like oven forms, and therefore it is better to take half the portion of products for manna.

To make semolina with kefir tender, crumbly, aromatic, rich, and tasty, you need to stir the soaked semolina several times while it is swelling. This will allow you to get a homogeneous crumbly mass, and not a solid lump of semolina.

When replacing baking powder with soda, know that 1 portion of slaked soda replaces 3 parts of ready-made baking powder. Depending on this, select the correct portions of these products.

Suddenly, there is no butter at home, we will replace it with margarine for baking.

You can use any fermented milk product in manna, for example, sour cream or natural yogurt. You should add just a little lemon to the finished dough ( lemon acid). In this case, the pie, in its splendor and tenderness, will in no way be inferior to manna prepared with kefir.

Mannik can be prepared with a variety of fillings, jam, jam, chocolate, condensed milk. To do this, cut the finished cooled pie into 2 parts and spread your layers with your favorite filling.

You can add raisins, candied fruits, fruits and berries to the dough for manna, but do not overdo it with adding these products, as your pie may not rise.

These are the delicious pie recipes I shared. Don’t be lazy, make this manna with kefir (any option), and please yourself and your friends and loved ones.

Good luck and all the best!
